The Government is consulting on later trading hours for pubs and bars for this event to cover “on-sales” of alcohol only until 1am the next day.

Where an event is considered an event of exceptional national or international significance, the secretary of state may make an order to relax licensing hours for such a celebration period as on previous occasions, such as the Euro Championship 2020.
